Celebrations, Community and Grattitude
As the leaves turned and fall arrived, 2025 proved to be a season filled with connection, reflection, and meaningful celebration at Services of Hope. We were thrilled to give back to our community by hosting a FREE Community Garage Sale, sharing donations with clients and neighbors in need. It was a beautiful reminder that our work extends beyond the therapy room, sometimes, it’s about meeting practical needs, offering support, and fostering hope.
This fall also marked moments of recognition and inspiration. Our CEO, Angelita Valdez, was honored as one of the 25 Influential Latinos in West Michigan, highlighting the impact of leadership rooted in compassion and dedication. Our interns and staff continued to grow and engage with the community, including participation in the Latino Youth Career Conference and meaningful retreats for reflection, learning, and personal growth.
As the season progressed, we celebrated connection and gratitude through shared meals and experiences, including our first FriendsGiving, where clients, families, and staff came together to break bread and strengthen the sense of family that defines Services of Hope. Our team also gathered to reflect on the year during the Staff Retreat and celebrated the holidays at our Staff Christmas Party, honoring the achievements, collaborations, and joys of 2025.
Fall reminds us to slow down, reflect, and appreciate the people and moments that bring meaning to our lives. Through connection, generosity, and gratitude, we find balance and resilience, carrying the spirit of the season into the months ahead.
